Xandria & Aeverium - + special guests
With Sacrificium, released in May, XANDRIA take another big musical step. Once again, the orchestrations are arranged by Joost van den Broek, who now also acts as a co-producer. In addition to the real string instruments and authentic Celtic whistles and pipes, the band works with a full classical choir – the renowned Dutch “Pa’dam” choir – which they have never done before. Another milestone for Xandria´s sound! Sacrificium makes the band’s highest chart ratings to date, reaching no. 25 in the German album charts, as well as entering the charts in other countries, including – for the first time – the UK and the USA. With this and with the Sacrificium tour being the band’s most successful tour to date, we can only be excited about how the story will continue...
