Iron Maiden (1994–1999)
Bayley steuerte den Gesang zu The X Factor (1995) und Virtual XI (1998) bei. Er hatte bei ´Maiden´ einen schweren Stand, da sein Vorgänger (Bruce Dickinson) seit 1981 für die Band sang und vielfach mit Iron Maiden assoziiert wurde. Die ersten Songs von The X Factor waren noch komplett auf Dickinsons Stimme zugeschnitten, und die Stimme von Bayley hatte eine gänzlich andere Klangfarbe, die erheblich dunkler und tiefer war. Trotzdem war die erste Single von Iron Maiden mit Bayley, Man on the Edge von Bayley verfasst worden und wurde ein großer Erfolg für den Sänger. Erst bei Virtual XI wurde Bayley komplett am Songwriting beteiligt.
Songs wie The Clansman, Lord of the Flies, Man on the Edge, Futureal und Sign of the Cross gehörten auch nach der einvernehmlichen Trennung und der Rückkehr Dickinsons zu Iron Maiden zur Setlist.
