Mobility and the Geopolitics of Knowledge: Challenges of the Scientific Exchange between EU and CELAC
What are main achievements, what are key challenges of the scientific exchange between the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)? What are characteristic mobility paterns between both regions? What could both regions learn from each other?
These are some of the questions to be discussed in the roundtable. It takes place in the context of the EU funded project: "Giving Focus to the Cultural, Scientific and Social Dimension of EU – CELAC Relations" (2016-2019), in which 19 institutional partners from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean work closely together. The main objective is to develop a common vision and a new strategic framework for the bi-regional relations. Mobility is one of the four cross-cutting topics to be analyzed in the project.
In the roundtable international experts participating in the project will address challenges of
scientific exchange between EU and CELAC.
