Im Rahmen von Open Spaces#3-2018

Unterstützt von einem Sampler und einem Vocoder erzählt Gérald Kurdian in sieben Liedern und zwei getanzten Zwischenspielen von dem Antihelden Trk_x und seinen Begegnungen auf dem Weg durch die sexuellen Revolutionen des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts. Lustvoll collagiert der französische Musiker, Performer und Radiokünstler für »Hot Bodies - Stand Up« die unterschiedlichsten Genres von Oper über Stand-up-Comedy, Choreografie bis hin zur Dokumentation und vermengt eigene Interviews mit Menschen, die mit ihrer Sexualität oder ihrem Geschlecht Widerstand leisten mit Texten zu queerem oder feministischen Aktivismus.

In the frame of Open Spaces#3-2018

Supported by a sampler and a vocoder, Gérald Kurdian tells the story of the antihero Trk_x and his encounters during the sexual revolutions of the 20th and 21st centuries in seven songs and two danced interludes. For »Hot Bodies - Stand Up«, the French musician, performer and radio artist creates a sensual collage of materials and formats such as opera, stand-up-comedy, choreography and documentary, mixing interviews with people whose sexuality or gender is an act of resistance with texts on feminist or queer activism.
