Once again the Keller Theatre proudly presents an evening of music with British singer and songwriter Adam Barnes, featuring Joe Hicks, on Sunday 28 April at 8pm at the Kleine Bühne, Bleichstrasse 28, 35390 Giessen. Doors open at 7.30pm.

Hailing from the countryside of Oxford, England, but now living in Berlin Adam Barnes is a songwriter known for his melancholic indie/folk songs that speak of lost love, wistful thinking and the occasional adventure too. His songs combine the quietest moments with raw emotional outbursts, indicating his musical upbringing of listening to the songwriters such as Damien Rice, Ray Lamontagne & Elliott Smith.
Adam released his second full length album ‘Vacancy at NASA’ on the 7th of February, 2018; a musical folk drama derived from the experiences and struggles that seven years of songwriting has provided entailing both astronomy and heartbreak. Raised in the rural market town of Newbury, Berkshire; English Singer-Songwriter Joe Hicks blends blues, funk, folk and pop influences, combining intricate guitar composition with classic pop song-craft. Having spent his earlier years as a guitar player in numerous different projects following a childhood of classical training, Joe released his first solo single 'Best Clothes' at the start of 2017.
