Im Jahr 2008 gegründet. Das Konzept der Band und der größte Teil ihres lyrischen Inhalts sind von der "Straight Edge" -Ideologie des gesunden Lebens und der Zurückhaltung durch Alkohol-, Tabak- oder Drogenkonsum inspiriert. Diese Ideale gehen Hand in Hand mit Respekt, Toleranz und Vorurteilen gegenüber denen, die diese Standards nicht erfüllen. Billy The Kid ist bekannt für seine hochenergetischen Live-Shows. Billy The Kid is a hardcore punk/metal and hip hop band originally from San Jose, Costa Rica. Founded in the year 2008. The band’s concept and most of its lyrical content is inspired from the “Straight edge” ideology of healthy living and restraint from any alcohol, tobacco or drug consumption. These ideals go hand in hand with respect, tolerance and no prejudice towards those who don’t live up to those same standards. Billy The Kid is known for its highly energetic live shows, the odd mix of hip hop and reggae with heavy breakdowns and fast tempo songs provide the world with a unique and rare product. Their shows give out a strong tropical Latin American identity in a context where it’s not common to see these influences. They are very keen to emphasize their Costa Rican heritage both in their songs and in their graphic design. Such mixture is what has kept them working in an environment largely dominated by other “darker” trends.

Billy The Kides una banda hardcore de punk / metal y hip hop originaria de San José, Costa Rica. Fundada en el año 2008. El concepto de la banda y la mayor parte de su contenido lírico está inspirado en la ideología "de vanguardia" de una vida saludable y la restricción de cualquier consumo de alcohol, tabaco o drogas. Estos ideales van de la mano con respeto, tolerancia y sin prejuicios hacia aquellos que no cumplen con los mismos estándares. Billy The Kid es conocido por sus shows en vivo altamente energéticos, la extraña mezcla de hip hop y reggae con fuertes averías y canciones de ritmo rápido proporcionan al mundo un producto único y raro. Sus shows dan a conocer una fuerte identidad latinoamericana tropical en un contexto donde no es común ver estas influencias.
