A poet. A sailor. A waitress. A North American
landscape. These are the main protagonists of this
feature film about longings. The poet, a mixture of
Jack Kerouac and Walt Whitman, drives across
the USA, seemingly without a destination. First he
picks up a sailor, shortly afterwards the waitress
joins them. The journey can begin … A classic of
the queer road movie genre in a digitally restored
version for its 30th anniversary.
