Basque society is characterised by values such as tradition and communality. What has profoundly changed the region and its cinema is the "Basque Conflict". This programme is a collection of works by filmmakers, including some rarely shown, that give expression to a strong Basque sense of identity and a singular cultural and cinematographic tradition.
