Die Filifjonka lebt in ihrem Haus auf einer einsamen Insel im Nordmeer, umgeben von den Erbstücken ihrer Familie und in ständiger Sorge vor einer Katastrophe. Wovor sie sich eigentlich fürchtet, weiß sie selbst nicht so genau. Die Angst ist aber so groß, so dass sie kaum vor die Tür geht. Dabei wünscht sich Nachbarin Gafsa, das einzige andere Lebewesen auf dem Eiland, doch so sehr Kontakt.
Inspiration für diese Geschichte aus dem Mumintal soll die Beziehung der Autorin Tove Jansson zu ihrer Lebensgefährtin, mit der sie auf einer abgelegenen Insel wohnte, gewesen sein. Das Puppentheater Burgas erzählt mit poetischer Finesse und feinem Humor, einem überraschend wandelbaren Bühnenbild und präzisem Spiel von zwei exzentrischen Figuren und der Konfrontation mit den eigenen Ängsten. Mit dieser Familienproduktion, die 2019 mit dem Nationalen Theaterpreis für die beste Puppentheaterinszenierung in Bulgarien ausgezeichnet wurde, ist das Ensemble erstmalig zu Gast bei Theater der Dinge.
Als Einstimmung auf den Theaterbesuch und für ein besseres Verständnis der Geschichte und ihrer Figuren laden wir Kinder ab 7 Jahren und ihre Familien um 17:15 Uhr zu einer Einführung und einer gemütlichen Tasse Tee ein.

Neben den Übertiteln stellen wir den deutschsprachigen Text vor der Vorstellung auch als Ausdruck zur vorherigen Lektüre zur Verfügung. In einer Sequenz wird eine flackernde Videoprojektion eingesetzt.

The Fillyjonk lives in her house on a lonely island in the North Sea, surrounded by heirlooms of her family and in a state of constant worry about a disaster. She isn’t so sure herself what it is that she is actually so worried about. Her fear, however, is so big, that she can hardly get herself out of the door. Her neighbor, Gafsa, the only other living creature on the island, wishes so much that they could be in contact.
The inspiration for this story from the Moominvalley was said to be the relationship of the author Tove Jansson with her partner, with whom she lived on a remote island. Using poetic finesse and fine humor, the State Puppet Theater Burgas tells the story of two eccentric characters and the confrontation with one’s own fears using a surprisingly transformative set and precise performance. With this production for families, which was awarded the Bulgarian national theater prize for the best puppet theater production in 2019, the ensemble is a guest at Theater der Dinge for the very first time.
We invite children from the ages of 7 and up and their families to join us at 5:15 pm for an introduction to the piece and a comfy cup of tea to get ready to see the show and to be able to understand the story better.

Alongside the supertitles, we are also happy to provide the German-language text in printed form so that audience members can read it before the performance. A flickering video projection is used in one sequence.
