At the grandparents´ annual pig slaughter in Osoblaha, a tradition faces its end. This year, tensions and hidden issues surface as Grandpa considers stopping the tradition, worrying Karel, his son-in-law who finds solace in the event. Family conflicts, including Karel´s strained relationships and Lucia´s failing marriage, intensify. Meanwhile, a technical mishap threatens the slaughter. Unaware, the family prepares, testing their bonds and the power of tradition and love in overcoming adversity.
