Paolo Macho was started in 2005 out of the former project “Captain Africa and the Shaquedelique Five” fka “Bifi and the Bold Block Blawyers”. its roots can be found even earlier. the first band members were vinc, jimmy, chief and bollo while hoscht was the first to go on holiday. soon paolo joined. the experiment started with two basses, a guitar, drumz and a trumpet.
one year later (2006) horscht luckily came back but paolo and vinc had to leave for the big wide world. without a drummer we effectively tried to use computer beats. missing our trumpeter we were glad to meet dad with his sax. theese repeated temporary changes of our instrumentation have been one of our most striking characteristics for the last two years.
Now all of our mates have rejoined Paolo Macho and we had a striking first year together!
Paolo is back in full strength!
