Electronic Beats presents a very special short performance by Pet Shop Boys live in Berlin. The British pop duo will play a selection of songs from their new album "Elysium" on September 5, 2012, the first time songs from the album will have been played live. The 30 minute show is to be held in the small and exclusive environs of HEBBEL AM UFER (HAU1), Berlin, Germany. Pet Shop Boys have especially selected the Hebbel am Ufer because of the theatre's reputation as one of the most innovative event locations in Berlin for young, international and experimental art.

Pet Shop Boys commented: "We wrote many of the 'Elysium' songs in Berlin so it seems very appropriate to give them their first live performances there. We're looking forward to a very special event just days before the new album is released."
"Elysium" is the Pet Shop Boys' eleventh studio album and was recorded in Los Angeles at the start of this year with producer Andrew Dawson, who has previously worked with Kanye West. The album is already being hailed as one of the duo’s finest whilst the single “Winner” (released on August 6) was recently deemed “triumphant” in the Daily Telegraph.
'Elysium' will be released via EMI on September 7, 2012.
