nergy storage has become a major topic in the European energy transition. Power-to-Gas plays a vital role in this transformation of Europe‘s energy systems. Besides fundamental research laying the ground for industrial implementation, there are various Power-to-Gas and Power-to-Liquid pilot plants and demonstration facilities, that show the technical feasibility of this new technology. The highly flexible use of the stored renewable energy for use in mobility, chemical industry, heat supply or power storage with its unique storage capacity, able to store energy for months, makes this technology very attractive for utilities and a CO2-neutral fuel supply chain. New perspectives of Power-to-Gas – summed up as Power-to-X – are Power-to-Chemicals / Power-to-Fuel / Power-to-Products, which we will discuss with the leading manufacturers in an entertaining manner.
