Ein Sammlungsprojekt von Bernd Dicke

Ausstellungs- und Editionsprojekt zum Status der Geschlechter in Zeiten wachsenden Bewegungsdranges vor und insbesondere nach dem 2. Weltkrieg. Gezeigt werden Fotografien, die zwei Dinge verbindet: Der Kauf und die Präsentation eines vermeintlich langlebigen Wirtschaftsgutes durch beiderlei Geschlechter. Und wie positionieren sich Eigentümerin / Fahrerinnen / Mitfahrerinnen gegenüber Fahrer / Eigentümer / Mitfahrer über die neue Mobilität.

Exhibition and edition project on the status of the sexes in times of growing urge to move before and especially after World War 2. On display are photographs that connect two things: The purchase and the presentation of a supposedly durable economic good by both sexes. And how do female owners / drivers / passengers position themselves vis-à-vis male drivers / owners / passengers about the new mobility.
